This particular silver round commemorates the Statue of Liberty and Liberty Island. Located in Upper New York Bay, Liberty Island is home to the Statue of Liberty, which was given to the United States as a gift from the people of France in 1880. She has stood watch over Americas busiest immigrant harbor for more than a century, welcoming the worlds tired, poor, and huddled masses.
 
On the obverse of these 2 oz Elemetal Liberty Island Silver Rounds youll find the image of the Statue of Liberty as seen from below, gazing up at her as she holds her torch aloft. The American flag is featured in the background of the design, with Liberty Island engraved along the right-hand side of the round.
 
The reverse face bears the common imagery used on all American Landmark Series silver rounds. This design includes a geographic depiction of North America that includes detailed visuals of rivers, lakes, and mountains across the continent. American Landmarks is engraved above, while the weight, purity, and metal content are included below.
