The reverse of the coin presents a colorful image of Clara, the heroine of the Nutcracker, a classic holiday ballet. Clever and brave, it is Clara who helps the Nutcracker, transformed into human size, fend off and slay the evil Mouse King and his army. Clara is wearing a blue dress and is holding the Nutcracker in her arms.
 
The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “2022” – the year of issue, “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “SOLOMON ISLANDS” – the issuing country, “2 DOLLARS” - the face value and “1 OZ AG 999.9” – the weight and the fineness of the Silver.
