It is the second coin from the Mexico Libertad Crystall Skull series. The series is dedicated to the traditional Mexican festival El Dia de Los Muertos, one of the most magnificent holidays. El Dia de Los Muertos celebrates two days a year when everyone honors the memory of the dead, comes to cemeteries, organizes festivals, and dresses up in bright costumes.
 
The central figure on the reverse is the Angel of Independence, and it also appears on the most famous Mexican coins. The column of independence, with the Angel on top, is also depicted on the "Centenario" coins, first issued in honor of the hundred years of independence. On the background, there is a full-color painting dedicated to El Dia de Los Muertos. You can see the face of Katrina, a traditional attribute of this holiday on it. She holds the skull, and behind there are few more. Another decorative element of the coin is a small skull, reminiscent of Mexican Crystal Skulls, which have also become traditional for Mexican culture. 
 
In the middle of the obverse, there is the Mexican coat of arms, where the golden eagle placed. It sits on a cactus and has a snake in its mouth. This image came from an ancient legend, according to which the god Huitzilopochtli told the Aztecs to settle at the place, where they would see this golden eagle. It's a modern coat of arms in Mexico, but ten previous coats of arms also placed on the obverse. They surround the main coat of arms.
