Lunar Year issues are ever so popular among collectors, and CIT’s Mongolian issues have become annual favourites. The 2024 issue, featuring the «Year of the Dragon», celebrates the 8th anniversary of the series. In Chinese mythology, dragons are majestic beasts that dwell in rivers, lakes, oceans and roam the skies. Originally a rain deity, the Chinese dragon is associated with heavenly beneficence and fertility.
