From them, Urd weaves the threads of fate, teaching that the past forms the foundation of the present and quietly guides the future.
 
The 2026 Norns: Urd 1 oz Silver BU, designed by Kinga Sabatowicz, is available in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces, packaged in a lens capsule and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
 
The obverse
In Germania Mint’s interpretation, Urd is depicted as a beautiful and wise being, weaving the golden thread of the past and reaching for memories and experiences. Standing at the foot of the Tree of Life, she carefully observes what has passed. Her eyes appear blind, yet they see far more than others. Dressed in an elegant gown and adorned with jewelry imbued with magical power, she exudes calm and timeless wisdom.
 
The reverse
The Germania Mint double-headed eagle is surrounded by the roots of Yggdrasil and golden threads of fate. In some places, the threads are broken, symbolizing that while the past shapes destiny, it is possible to break free from it and begin a new path.
