Werdanda, also known as Verdandi, means “that which is happening” and is the Norn of the present. Her role is to observe ongoing events and subtly influence their course by weaving fate in the moment. Werdanda symbolizes activity, the dynamics of life, and the necessity of acting “here and now.” Under her guidance, the present becomes a bridge connecting the past and the future.
The 2026 Norns: Werdanda 1 oz Silver BU, designed by Kinga Sabatowicz, is available in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces, packaged in a capsule with a lens and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
 
The obverse
In Germania Mint’s interpretation, Werdanda is depicted as a beautiful woman sitting on the root of Yggdrasil. Fully immersed in the present moment, she reminds us of the importance of choices and decisions made “here and now.” Her hair is braided like threads of fate, and her tasteful attire and magical jewelry complete the image of the guardian of the present.
 
The reverse
The Germania Mint double-headed eagle is surrounded by the roots of Yggdrasil and golden threads of fate. The broken threads symbolize the possibility of breaking free from the past and shaping destiny through conscious actions in the present.
