The 2021 Solomon Islands 1oz Silver Bison Coin is another coin in the Spirit Animals Series by PAMP Suisse Mint. There can be no argument that this is truly a work of art. This coin is accented with full, vibrant color and is simply breathtaking. The coin is shaped like a bison.

The obverse side of the coin has a stylized representation of a bison’s horns and head shape. The background has a bison hair pattern. At the top left is ‘2021 and at top right is an individual serial number. At the center of this side is an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. Engraved around the queen’s image is ‘ELIZABETH II SOLOMON ISLANDS 2 DOLLARS 1 OZ AG 999.9’. 
 
On the reverse side of the coin is a beautiful, very vibrant representation of a bison. The finish of the coin gives it a prooflike look that really pops. Colorado artist Phil Lewis’s design uses a rich tapestry of colors that go beyond the standard brown of the bison’s fur. Lewis uses a burnt orange, shades of purple, yellow and deep reds.
