There are few buildings as distinctive and recognisable as those designed by Antonio Gaudi. It’s the Sagrada Familia, a cathedral immortalized in the image, but also the artist’s other works that contribute to the unique atmosphere of Barcelona - a tourist mecca and capital of extraordinary architecture. This coin will take you on a walk through the city’s most beautiful streets.
 
The reverse of the coin depicts the typical colorful patterns and biomorphic forms, which are Gaudi’s hallmark. On the right side of the coin there is the Antonio Gaudì signature and the inscription: “1852-1926” – the dates of birth and death of the architect.
 
The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Cameroun and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN” – the issuing country, “2022” – the year of issue and “1000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value.
