The coin has an outstanding design in High Relief, has Antique Finish quality and comes packed in a beautiful luxury wooden case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 199 pieces worldwide.
 
The reverse of the coin depicts a beautiful landscape with African wildlife and nature. The scene features elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos and other animals. In the background, a volcano.  All around the reverse, the animals of the previous issues in the series are presented. Starting from the top and moving clockwise: a lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and buffalo. The design also includes the inscriptions: “BIG 5 AFRICA” – the name of the series and “1oz .9999 Gold” – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Gold.
 
The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Ivory Coast and the inscriptions: “RÉPUBLIQUE DE CÔTE D’IVOIRE” – the country of issue and “100 FRANCS CFA” – the face value of the coin.
