Monkey King Gold Gilt Black Proof - 1 oz Silver Coin - 1$ Niue 2026

A TRUE MODERN RARITY!  Mintage just 388, far too few for global demand!  The Monkey King, Sun Wukong, receives his magic staff from the Dragon King of the East Sea on this dramatic pure silver dollar, enhanced with 24-karat gold plating and a black proof finish!

The Monkey King, Sun Wukong, is a supernatural being in Chinese mythology and the protagonist in the 16th century novel Journey to the West. He possesses many skills and many powers, but his greatest asset in his travels is his magical iron staff known as the Ruyi Jingu Bang. This staff was given to him at the outset of his journey by his friend Ao Guang, the Dragon King of the East Sea, where it was originally a massive pillar in the Dragon King's underwater palace.

Rings of gold are banded around both ends of the Monkey King's staff, and it glows with a heavenly light when he wields it. The staff can change size, shrinking down to a tiny sewing needle that Monkey King can hide behind his ear, or growing infinitely large to serve as a tower to the heavenly clouds. The staff is sentient, and obeys the mental commands and wishes of Sun Wukong. In battle, it can reproduce and multiply itself into many identical staffs, which the Monkey King uses to smite many enemies at once.

We can't recommend this dynamic numismatic treasure heartily enough. With 24-karat gold plating (gilding) and a dramatic black proof finish, the Monkey King and Dragon King stand side by side against their enemies, struck in one troy ounce of pure silver. This beauty is encapsulated in luxurious numismatic packaging with an individually numbered certificate.  Best of all is the inexplicably tiny mintage limit of 388, guaranteeing the Monkey and Dragon Kings will be sought out by future generations!

Extraordinarily low mintage—just 388—don't delay, this dramatic Monkey King & Dragon pure silver proof will sell out quickly!
