Coin description
The reverse brings The Lovers to life in colourful anime style. A couple holds hands in a flowering garden beneath an angel with sweeping feathered wings, a golden halo and flame-like hair. Radiating light, blue skies and flowing pink and blue garments give the scene a vibrant, romantic atmosphere. An ornamental border frames the artwork, while a golden ribbon bears “VI ~ THE LOVERS.” The Holo Silver edition adds shimmering rainbow effects, while the Gilded Holo edition combines holographic colour with a gilded border.
 
The obverse recreates the elaborate back of a tarot card through intricate photo minting. Celestial motifs, stars, curling foliage and decorative scrollwork surround a central medallion bearing the Coat of Arms of Cameroon. The inscriptions “REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN,” “2026” and “1000 FRANCS CFA” identify the issuing country, year and denomination. A small panel below reads “1 oz .999 pure silver.” The ornamental background appears in silver or shimmering holographic colour according to the edition, with gilded details completing the rarest tier.
 
Background information
Tarot originated in fifteenth century Italy as a card game and became associated with divination and symbolic interpretation in later centuries. A traditional deck contains 78 cards, divided into 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana.
