THE SORCERER’S APPRENTICE – DISNEY FANTASIA 80TH ANNIVERSARY – 2021 1 oz Pure Silver Proof Coin
 
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of Disney’s Fantasia, which premiered in 1940, this officially licensed, 1oz silver coin shows a scene from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, a segment of the film.
In this scene, Mickey Mouse, having fallen asleep, dreams about conducting the stars. Both colour and engraving have been used along with some nice relief for Mickey standing upon his rock, which shines out in silver. A smattering of the stars have been left in silver to shine too.
 
The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is legal tender in Niue. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed alongside the coin to confirm this and the unique serial number in the limited mintage.
 
The coin sits snugly inside the story book-style packaging. Artwork taken from the film’s delightful posters adorn the packaging inside and out to complement the coin.
