These blisterpacks feature a capsule at the center to house the gold bar safely and have an assay card included inside of the package. The card includes the signature of a certified assayer, as well as the matching weight, metal content, purity, and serial number of the bar.
 
Kinebar technology was developed by Argor-Heraeus and UBS, the Union Bank of Switzerland, in 1993. The one-of-a-kind hologram is known as a kinegram and is embossed into the substrate surface of the reverse field of the gold bar. The kinegram changes colors and visual textures as the angle of viewing on the bar changes.
