This assay capsule package includes a capsule space in the center of the package to house the bar and an assay card surrounding it within the packaging. The assay verifies the weight, purity, and metal content of the bar, while also featuring the signature of a certified assayer.
 
Geiger Original Series square bullion bars come with five security features included in the design of each individual bar. These include a pearl finish to the obverse design elements and a high-relief, textured reverse finish. The edges of the bars are ribbed for an effect similar to that of the reeded edges on bullion coins. Further, the reverse of each bar has a UV-coating that exposes, under black light, an LEV rhombus at the center of the design field and the serial number of the bar.
 
Obverse design elements on the 20 Gram Geiger Square Gold Bar include the image of Schloss Guldengossa in the center. This Baroque-style castle was built near Leipzig, Germany, in 1720 and is the official corporate headquarters of Geiger Edelmetalle. Engravings on this face of the bar include the mint of issue, name of the castle, and the bars weight, purity, and metal content.
 
Reverse design features for the 20 Gram Geiger Square Gold Bar are limited to a repeating pattern of the LEV rhombus. There is space on this side of the bar for the unique serial number, and as mentioned above, when a black light passes over this side it exposes extra security features in the bar.
