Isssued by the Royal Canadian Mint, the $20 for $20 Face Value Collector Coin Series featured 99.99% fine silver commemorative coins from 2011 to 2016. Struck in specimen finish with 7.96 grams of pure silver. FAREWELL TO THE PENNY pays homage to the Canadian one-cent coin. The iconic maple leaf twig design, created by G.E. Kruger-Gray, has appeared on all one-cent coins since 1937 (except 1967) takes centre stage with the added twist of a watery setting. All $20 for $20 Commemorative Collection Coins are encapsulated, in a clear vinyl pouch, and include a certificate (COA) folder.
