The hero of this exceptional coin in the Bödvar Saga series by Germania Mint is Bödvar – the invincible warrior whose life was forever altered by tragedy and the pursuit of justice. The 2026 Bödvar Saga: Loss Vengeful 1 oz Silver BU coin celebrates the dramatic story, courage, and indomitable spirit of the legendary warrior.
 
Designed by Mateusz Frąckowiak, the coin emphasizes heroism and the emotional drama of Bödvar’s world. The mintage is strictly limited to 999 pieces. Each coin is presented in a lens capsule and a Coin box, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity that guarantees its exceptional character and numismatic value.
 
The obverse
On the obverse of the colored coin, a dramatic moment that forever changed Bödvar’s fate is captured. The warrior, bound in chains, stands powerless before an overpowering attacker, while his wife Astrid dies on her knees amidst the flames consuming their village. Thanks to carefully chosen colors, the scene gains a new dimension – fire, emotion, and tension fill every part of the relief. From Astrid’s last words, Bödvar learns that their daughter Sunneva has been abducted. Devastated by loss, yet consumed by rising fury, he swears to find his child and sets out on a relentless quest for justice.
 
The reverse
On the reverse, the central motif remains the sacred Mount Thorbjørn. The monumental rocky massif takes the form of a roaring bear, symbolizing strength and divine power. On its forehead is carved the Sowilo rune. Waterfalls flow from the stone bear’s mouth, feeding the rivers at its base. The coin’s outer ring is adorned with a magical runic circle. Among the bear’s stone teeth is placed a shield with a double-headed eagle, while chains wrap around the entire composition, symbolically linking Bödvar’s destiny with the mythical mountain.
