Laevateinn is Loki's weapon, the "wounding wand" mentioned in the Poetic Edda and kept beneath the gates of the dead. Some scholars believe it's a flaming sword. Others claim it killed Baldr. What's certain: this is the blade that embodies fire, betrayal, and the end of all things. Loki himself defied every boundary. Shapeshifter. Trickster. Neither god nor giant. He engineered Baldr's death, fathered the monsters of Ragnarök, and was ultimately chained beneath the earth with serpent venom dripping onto his face as punishment.
