The reverse of the coin depicts the fantasticis Vinson Massif, a large mountain massif in Antarctica that is 21 km (13 mi) long and 13 km (8 mi) wide and one of the world-famous “Seven Summit” peaks. All around the reverse, the inscriptions: “MT VINSON 4892 m” – the name of the coin and the height, “Sentinel Range, Antarctica”, “THE 7 SUMMITS” – the name of the series and “2022” – the year of issue.
 
The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “COOK ISLANDS” – the issue country and “25 DOLLARS” – the face value.
