The reverse of the coin shows the impressive, highly detailed, high relief image of a tiger's face. All around the reverse, the inscriptions: "1 OZ .999 Au" - the weight of the piece and the fineness of gold, "Haut-relief" - means high relief in French and "2023" - the year of 'issue.
 
The obverse of the coin depicts the coat of arms of Côte d'Ivoire and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DE COTE D'IVOIRE" - the issuing country, "2023" - the year of issue and "100 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
