The reverse of the coin represents the LP record player with a gold-plated inlay representing a vinyl disc where there is the inscription "75th ANNIVERSARY OF VINYL LONG PLAYING RECORD". The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Barbados together with the inscriptions: "BARBADOS 2O23" – the country and the year of issue, "3oz" – the weight of the coin, "5 DOLLARS" – the face value and "Ag.999" – the fineness of the Silver. The outer surface of the obverse is entirely covered by music symbols.
