Obverse (front side):
- Displays a left-facing portrait of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat, cotton, and oak leaves.
- The inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM" arches along the top edge, while the year "1921" is positioned at the bottom.
- The entire design is gilded in gold, contrasting with the American flag pattern in the background.
Reverse (back side):
- Features a gold-colored heraldic eagle with outstretched wings, clutching arrows and an olive branch.
- A laurel wreath surrounds the eagle, and the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" encircles the top edge.
- The phrase "In God We Trust" appears above the eagle.
- "ONE DOLLAR" is inscribed at the bottom.
- Like the obverse, the background consists of an American flag motif.
