This coin depicts the Battle of Midway, which changed the course of history. The reverse of the coin features the wonderful High Relief image of the important Battle of Midway, one of the most important battles in the Pacific theatre in World War 2.
 
The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a map and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "NIUE" – the issuing country, "2021" – the year of issue, "FIVE DOLLARS" – the face value and "Ag999" – the fineness of the Silver.
